TEST: Material Rendering 1

Product Type: Live weekly teaching with assignments and feedback Instructor: Clint Cearley Duration: 8 weeks (2.5-3hr/class) Skill Level: Intermediate Software: Adobe Photoshop (or similar painting program) Overview: Level up the material rendering quality in your digital paintings through fantasy prop illustrations! A common problem in material rendering is everything sharing a similar plastic-like appearance which is a point this class will address. Each week we'll study individual materials, such as metal and leather, then we'll put this knowledge to practice by painting a prop diorama illustration. Class will cover: • How to render common materials such as leather, wood, metal, and more! • Creating and illustrating fun fantasy props Lessons will feature completed images for examples, live demos and weekly assignments. This class is listed as Intermediate difficulty meaning that it is best if you already have foundational drawing and shading skills as they will not be covered.
