Overview: Level up the material rendering quality in your digital paintings through fantasy prop illustrations! A common problem in material rendering is everything sharing a similar plastic-like appearance which is a point this class will address. Each week we'll study individual materials, such as metal and leather, then we'll put this knowledge to practice by painting a prop diorama illustration. Lessons include paint-alongs so be ready to start sketching during the lessons.
This class is listed as Intermediate difficulty meaning that it is best if you already have foundational drawing and shading skills as they will not be covered. If you are unsure if you have the skill necessary for this class, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and include a link to your online gallery, and we will let you know.
