PAINTING CHARACTERS FOR ROLE PLAYING GAMES
This is the course for those who want to paint standalone characters like those in D&D and Pathfinder! You will focus on illustrating full-length fantasy and historical characters with no background.

You'll cover lighting and value control, how to paint armor in a variety of metals, approaching fabric and folds, posing for character type, skin tones (human and otherwise), and more!

Your studies will culminate in creating a customized character illustration. This course will focus on the rendering aspect of characters and will only lightly touch on anatomy and character design.
Whether you're wanting to build a portfolio of standalone characters, or simply practice them as a stepping stone to full character scenes, you'll find the course helpful and engaging.
THIS COURSE IS IDEAL FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO:
-
Paint characters for D&D, Pathfinder and similar TTRPGs
-
Efficiently paint the three most common lighting setups
-
Build skills towards the advanced Fantasy Illustration course
