Why Most Scenes Fail + Theory of Composition

  • Defining the core tone and purpose of your scene

  • Thinking like a movie director 

  • Learning from cinematography: framing the shot, camera placement and tilt, setting the scene's tone with visual stability vs instability

  • Demo: Analyzing four briefs on the 6-point approach you can use

Designing From The Brief

  • How to compose the elements in your scene with intention

  • Using set dressing for visual storytelling
