MATERIAL RENDERING THROUGH PROPS
Good material rendering is crucial to believable images
Each week we'll learn how to paint a common material; such as leather, brass, crystal, and steel. We'll breakdown the factors that make those materials have their unique look so you have a thorough understanding of the subject. The individual studies will culminate into illustrating a fantasy prop arrangement to add to your portfolio.
Class will cover:
• How to render common materials like leather and metal.
• Discuss the factors that give material's their unique look
• Creating and illustrating a prop diorama for your portfolio
Lessons will feature completed images for examples, live demos and weekly assignments with feedback.
